“4 Views of a Secret” is a series of four dioramas depicting natural but fantastic environments. Each contains a chair or bench so viewers can imagine themselves in the scene. Unlike most dioramas, these are enclosed and must be viewed through a small opening. This gives the viewer the sense of looking into a secret, dramatically lit scene that’s hidden; an opening into a strange parallel world. The worlds are joined together with a soundtrack collaged from forest sounds, footsteps and sound effects from the NASA website that people accessed via QR code (original soundtrack link is below).
